BBSA Eastern Cape Branch will be holding their annual Brass Band Festival in the Boemendal Moravian Church on 3 August 2014 at 15h00.

The 2nd Moravian Unity Brass Band Festival was held in Bad Boll, Germany, in May 2013. Three groups from BBSA, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, and Mamre Brass Band participated in this festival and toured Germany in May 2013. In response to an invitation from our partners in Germany, Posaunenwerk Hannover, a group will be visiting Germany in August to participate in a Brass Festival which will form part of the 1000th Anniversary celebrations of the St Michael's Church in Hildesheim.

The recent passing of Reverend Doctor Albert (Al) Frank brought to mind the first time I met him and his wife Erdmurthe. On arriving in Bethlehem in August 2002 to preside over the Unity Synod I was met at Bethlehem Airport and taken to the offices of Central Moravian Church.....
Awards Given To Dedicated BBSA Players

The annual brass band festival of the Moravian Church occurred the 9th of October in Pella. The festivity started the 8th of October with players from the Western Cape and three players from the Eastern Cape attending combined practices.

Essingen Brass Band 40th Anniversary

During the week-end 5th and 6th June 2005 Essingen Brass Band celebrated 40 years of brass with a superb concert by the junior players. After the concert celebrations was continued with a film session, snacks and drinks, good beers included.
Unity festival meeting Port Elizabeth
