Our stopover in Doha was of short duration and we were soon on our way to Johannesburg. The flight was uneventful. In Johannesburg, Mark, Tyrone and Jo-Lynn took leave of the group and disembarked. From there Mark went on to Pretoria and Tyrone and Jo-Lynn had to wait for a connecting flight to Port Elizabeth. They were joined by Alexander Hitzeroth with whom they had to leave some of their luggage because SAA would not apply the rules relating to international luggage on a local flight. Fortunately they were offered seats on an earlier flight and were able to arrive home a few hours earlier than expected. Some drama however awaited the group on arrival in Cape Town where a trombone was reported missing. On this note our tour came to an end.
