BBSA Eastern Cape Branch will be holding their annual Brass Band Festival in the Boemendal Moravian Church on 3 August 2014 at 15h00. The Salem Moravian Concert Band will be guest performers at the festival wth Berenice Whitebooi and Eugene Alexander as guest vocalists.
Of special significance will be the participation of members of bands from the Maluti District. They are the products of the BBSA Band Project which aims to introduce brass bands in all the districts of the Moravian Church in South Africa where brass bands were non existent.
The theme of the festival is, But for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge.
