We started the day with breakfast with our hosts before meeting at the Markplatz for the opening of the brassband festival. This was the main event to which we had been invited. After the opening we attended various brass workshops. We thereafter had lunch at St Andreas Church before we had to some time off to do some shopping, which had now become a priority because it does not appear that we will be visiting any big cities. We then played a concert on the Markplatz at 15:15, and thereafter we participated in the festival service which was also held at the Markplatz. We then went home for supper with our hosts. Some hosts arranged to get a group of us together for a braai.
