We had our final breakfast with our hosts in Germany and took leave of them early to leave for Muggerstroom from where we left for Heidelberg. In Heidelberg we were met by Rev Godfrey Cunningham, but before his arrival one of our busses met with an accident in which the side mirror of our bus knocked the side mirror of another bus. It was a long delay in the arrival of the police, and after we were done with the police did we took leave of Bernard Fortuin, Heinrich Neelse and Gregory Pieterse who left by train for Holland where they would again meet up with Loretta Kros-Pieterse. Some of us went into the city of Heidelberg making use of public transport whilst the rest of us went to the house of Rev Cunningham where we left our busses and then also made use of public transport into the Old Heidelberg. This was our final opportunity for shopping and some of us really made good use of the opportunity. We also enjoyed lunch in the city centre and thereafter we return to the home of Rev Cunningham. We were then joined by Sr Lucinda Cunningham afterwhich Rev Cunningham said a prayer and we said our goodbyes. We then departed for the airport in Frankfurt. On our way we dropped off Leschelle Morkel in Darmstadt. At the airport we had the serious business of sorting our luggage which was clearly overweight but, with the help of Sherwyn , we managed to depart without any drama. From Frankfurt we flew to Doha where we arrived the following morning.
